Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Iron Trellis is rooted in three generations of family history in Yelm, Washington. What began as a hay field on land Scott's grandfather built on in 1952 has been transformed — over more than a decade of deliberate, patient work — into one of the most distinctive intimate wedding venues in the Pacific Northwest. We built this place because we love it. We share it because we think you will too.
About Us
We are Carla and Scott Demich — the people behind Iron Trellis. We live on this property, tend these gardens, and personally welcome every couple and family who celebrates here. We are warm, genuine people who take real pride in what we have built. We host a small number of events each year because we believe every celebration deserves our full attention — not a coordinator juggling six weddings at once, but owners who care deeply about how your day unfolds. Since 2017 our guesthouses have earned Superhost status on Airbnb with five-star reviews. We bring that same standard of personal care to every event we host. When you choose Iron Trellis, you are not a booking on a calendar. You are the reason we built this.
